About Me

A Quarter-Century of Global Stories

For 25 years, I've had the immense privilege of chasing stories, and what a ride it's been.

My journey began in Mumbai, India, where I dove headfirst into the exhilarating world of magazines. I quickly became immersed in the culture, and my work soon brought me across the ocean to the UK, where I lived for 17 years.

While working for a major publishing firm there, I wrote for its various magazines. I captured the magic of Bollywood, profiled the opulent homes of rich and famous South Asians in the UK for interiors magazines, and conducted features on directors and socialites. My passion for capturing these cross-cultural narratives led me to freelance, spending my days writing as the UK correspondent for publications like Sunday Mid-day and crafting in-depth features for India Today.

My career then took an entrepreneurial turn: I saw an opportunity and decided to launch Bollywood Glitz magazine. It was a true passion project where I handled everything—from the editorial content and securing advertising to managing the printing and overseeing the crucial profit and loss. I connected with incredible people and their fascinating lives, exploring everything from film sets in Mumbai to the vibrant heart of the UK’s South Asian community.

My path then led me across the Atlantic to the USA, where I've called New York home for the past 15 years. Here, the storytelling continued, but evolved into a new format: I launched the popular podcast, Bollywood Snacks, available on Apple and Spotify.

Every move, every new city, and every venture—from print to podcast—has added a rich layer to my perspective, deepening my understanding of the world and the human stories within it. This website is a deeply personal collection of those experiences, a treasure trove of the narratives I've gathered, the insights I've gained, and the extraordinary individuals I've had the honor of meeting.

It truly has it all, and I'm so excited to share this quarter-century of global storytelling with you.
