Society Interiors

A leading Indian interiors and design magazine of its era, known for access-driven storytelling and design with cultural context.

Society Interiors was one of India’s most respected architecture and lifestyle magazines in the late 1990s and early 2000s, known for its thoughtful editorial approach to interiors, design, and the private worlds behind public stature.

Published by Magna Publishing, the magazine occupied a distinct space in the Indian media landscape—bridging architecture, interior design, luxury living, and social narrative. It was widely read by architects, designers, developers, and culturally engaged readers who valued depth over decoration.

Bollywood Glitz was a film and entertainment magazine launched and built by me, conceived as a platform that combined glamour with sharp cultural commentary. From the ground up, I was involved in every aspect of the publication — sourcing and shaping editorial, writing a regular column, commissioning stories, identifying and managing distributors, and leading a small team responsible for advertising and commercial partnerships.

More than a magazine, Bollywood Glitz was a hands-on, founder-led project — one that reflected a deep engagement with Hindi cinema at a time of rapid industry change. It remains one of the most personal and formative chapters of my media journey, and a publication I continue to look back on with pride.
